THE PAPERWORKS

From the minds behind the much loved Corsica Studios, The Paperworks moved from its original location and re-imagined on the site of The Bottle Factory.

Every Friday and Saturday throughout August and September 2020, The Paperworks showcased a lively music programme combined with creative arts experiences, a selection of contemporary street-food and exceptional drinks and cocktails to create a new open-air destination venue for South London.

Reasons Christmas Fundraiser

We teamed up with some amazing partners to host a Christmas Fundraiser with close friends, family and the supportive network that have helped build Reasons up throughout the year. Celebrating with incredible food, booze & drag, all in the name of Mens Mental Health & Testicular Cancer. Raising £1,200 in the process.

Special thanks to Grace Shush, Bimini & Margo Marshall for there unforgettable performances, Jake Nason, Creative Debuts, Le Beefed, Jim Tonic, German Kraft & Brooklyn Lager for making the evening one to remember!

Millsy's - Cafe & Bar

If J.Mills were here today, we’d hope he came in for cheeky lager and felt right at home. He might notice a few changes, but our aim is to bring this ancillary unit back from the brink of demolition, keeping the same charm and hard earned luxury of a cold pint at days-end.

Millsy’s has been designed to serve the both community and campus, acting as the building reception, cafe and bar, not forgetting it’s ability to host a wide selection of events from music, film, private or public performances.

Featuring a fully functioning JBL E-Series to keep the party going. This coffee shop/ prohibition hideaway will become the reason you start your weekend in SE1.

New South London Location

This architecturally impressive warehouse is a former ginger beer bottling factory dating back to 1895!

Located in SE1, just off the Old Kent Road it was in operation for over a century through J. Mills & Sons. The building has extensive local heritage, is built from characteristic London yellow stone and retains incredible original features.

Once the refurbishment is complete the building will provide a mix of creative units, high-quality offices and studio spaces.

We can’t wait to see this local gem come back to life, bring on 2020.
